PRIMER

EPDM Primer is a low viscosity synthetic rubber based primer for preparing an existing EPDM waterproofing membrane for receiving a liquid applied waterproofing membrane. Our HT EPDM Primer is an alternative grade for priming EPDM prior to receiving pressure sensitive accessories and tapes. 

All liquid applied systems are different, with a wide range of chemistries such as polyurethane, silane terminated, GRP and more. As a result, performance with substrate preparation primers such as our EPDM Primer can differ between coatings, that’s where our technical team come in. We will work with our clients to quantify product performance, at this stage if there are any compatibility issues that become apparent, all is not lost, we have multiple formulations available and are able reformulate in order to ensure optimal performance between primer and coating.
